CnEVPost Newsletter: BYD unveils new EV tech; NIO scales back purchase benefits
BYD officially unveiled its intelligent body control system called DiSus, a technological breakthrough that follows its DM Super Hybrid technology, e-Platform 3.0, Blade Battery and e⁴ platform.
NIO will no longer give customers a free home charger, and will upgrade NOP+ to a formal release and start a subscription system for the software starting July 1 for RMB 380 per month.
Both the NIO ES7 SUV and ET5 sedan now have expected delivery dates of about 2 weeks, compared to about 3 weeks for both previously.
Tesla's share of the NEV market in China was 14.12 percent in March and 20.02 percent in the BEV market.
The Megafactory is planned to initially produce up to 10,000 units of commercial energy storage batteries per year, with an energy storage scale of nearly 40 GWh, and the product will be available to the global markets.
